This policy explains what Mr. Abhilekhak (“we”) does with the information you give us when you use this website, send us an enquiry or engage us. We are the data fiduciary for this information under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, mobile number, email address and city.
  • Application details: the service you need and what you tell us about it, such as your business name, PAN and address.
  • Documents you upload through the secure link we send you: for example PAN, Aadhaar (we ask for it masked where the law allows), bank statements and agreements.
  • Basic usage data: pages visited and the device and browser used, to keep the site working and secure.

Why we use it

Only to provide the services you apply for: preparing and filing your applications and returns, issuing certificates, keeping you updated by phone, WhatsApp or email, and meeting our legal and professional obligations as Chartered Accountants. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who can see it

You, and the partners and staff of the firm who work on your file. When we file on your behalf, the information required is submitted to the relevant government portal (for example GST, income tax or MCA). Service providers who host our systems process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep your documents and application records for as long as your applications are open, and afterwards for the period our professional and statutory record-keeping obligations require. After that they are securely deleted.

Security

Everything you send us travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is stored on access-controlled systems. Only the firm’s team can sign in to see it; their sessions expire automatically and every sign-in is logged.

Your rights

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or update your information.
  • Ask us to delete your data, subject to what we must keep by law.
  • Withdraw consent — this may stop us providing a service that needs the data.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
